i have just back from i trip to Washington DC and New York, I got to see some great Art in both city’s, it was inspirational to see classic paintings and sculptures, and also the contemporary art that is happening out there today to see the brushstrokes the layers and the chisel marks. it has filled my head with ideas and new approaches.
the high lights was the National portrait Gallery in Washington DC and the Guggenheim in New York
it was great as i am working on a lot of new work for a gallery show in January and seeing all these amazing works of art has left me with hope and inspiration, validating what i do,

OK this has been a great project, thanks to the Redondo Beach police and the Unified school district.
i have been painting this mural with the help of the high school kids of Shores, its for Red ribbon week, drug awareness. I have groups of kids come out and paint with me and assist me with the production of the mural throughout the day. We are not done yet but wanted to show you some photos of the stages and see how it comes together, its been really great to work with these young adults that most of them have never painted before, and to be a mentor and a guide for them. i will keep the photos coming as we wind up the project in the next couple weeks.

This is a group show that I curated and participated, that the Semler Brossy Consulting Group commissioned art work for their office in Westwood. the artist made pieces based off of their clients, like Avon, Microsoft, Blackrock and many more. We are having the opening reception on thursday 17th of november at 5-630pm if your free stop by and say hi

Hey guys, this is the first post on my blog, I want to keep every one updated on what i’ve been up to as things are moving along and i’m have a lot of fun along the way.
This is a performance piece done with the band La Cienega, on the day of the dead celebration. it was off the hook
painting with my hands done in about 25-30 minutes, i will be posting a video as soon as i get the footage.
